SHORT-TERM RESEARCH GRANT MAY-JUNE 2011
The Chair InBev-Baillet Latour at K.U.Leuven is looking for Russian doctoral/academic researchers doing research on one of the following topics:
-EU-Russia relations from a political and/or juridical perspective
-internal political and/or legal developments in the Russian Federation
-Russian federalism and regionalism
-minority and human rights in Russia
-Russia’s energy policy
-Russia’s relations with the other CIS states
-other relevant topics related to EU-Russia relations
A research stay at the Institute for International and European Studies of the K.U.Leuven (http://www.iieb.be) for min 2 months – max 3 months during the period April – June 2011, including a monthly stipend of 1000 Euro, travel costs, health insurance, access to research facilities.
Who can apply? Candidates should be enrolled as PhD students or be part of the academic staff at a Russian university, have Russian citizenship, have a good active and passive knowledge of English, be younger than 35.
Working language: English
Publication requirement: the grant holder has to write during his/her research stay one Working Paper for the Chair InBev-Baillet Latour Working Paper Series.
